In order for returns to be credited against open invoices with NYU, the books must be received to the Maple warehouse (address below) by Friday, July 1, 2016. Any returns which will arrive after that must be shipped to the Ingram warehouse. Credits for returns to the IPS warehouse (“IPS credits”) cannot be applied to past purchases from NYU. IPS credits can only be applied to purchases made after July 5, 2016 through Ingram.

For questions about the returns transition, please contact nyupressinfo@nyu.edu.

If books will arrive by Friday, July 1, 2016, ship returns to the Maple warehouse:

If books will arrive after Friday, July 1, 2016, ship returns to the IPS warehouse:

IPS’s return policy is available here.

No returns will be accepted at the Maple warehouse after July 1 and no credit will be issued. All returns after July 1 must be sent to the IPS warehouse and the ensuing credits can only be used towards purchases made through IPS.

Current Open Invoices with NYU

All open invoices with NYU should be paid as instructed on the original invoice(s) within the stated terms. If you have any questions concerning payment of these invoices, please e-mail nyupar@gmail.com or call 212-992-9987. No returns credits can be accepted towards these invoices unless the returns are received in the Maple warehouse by July 1, 2016.

For example, if you bought an NYU Press title for $30 in June but returned it to Ingram’s warehouse in August, you will need to pay NYU $30 and you will have a future credit with Ingram for $30. You will not be able to apply credits from returns received after July 1 to NYU invoices.
