Select NYU Press titles are available through the Copyright Clearance Center for immediate approval on all educational uses, including photocopying for course packets and electronic reserve.

Permissions for Republication

Before sending a permission request, please verify that the rights to the material are controlled by NYU Press. Particularly in the case of photographs and essays appearing in edited collections, some other entity may hold the copyright.

Once you have verified that NYU Press is the copyright holder, please send complete bibliographic information (author, title, page range, etc.) to:

NYU Press partners with Bookshare to create and distribute alternative formats of our books.  Please visit Bookshare’s website to request the title you need.  If the title you’re searching for is not in there, it can be requested by special order.
